  • Asuka Sushi (M) - Cheap, pretty good option for lunch and groups.
  • Bassanova Ramen (M) - Very lukewarm experience to go with the lukewarm ramen. meh.
  • Blue Ribbon Sushi SoHo (M) - Possibly the best sushi on the planet, though I could only afford to order maybe 3 pieces of sashimi.
  • Cocoron (M) - Cult favorite for soba noodles. First time having dipping soba.
  • Curry-Ya (M) - Random tiny counter. Japanese Curry that made the top of his head sweat.
  • EN Japanese Brasserie (M) - Pretty delicious cod. Skip the sashimi.
  • Gyu-Kaku (M) - Mediocre Japanese/Korean cook-it-yourself barbecue with plenty of whiskey to make it better.
  • Ippudo (M) - Probably still the best Japanese ramen.
  • Ivan Ramen (M) - Went with Japanese friend, who approved- so that says a lot. I thought it was okay, still like Ippudo better.
  • Ootoya (M) - Amazing Japanese sets. The salmon was fantastic..
  • Momofuku Noodle Bar (M) - No, it's not traditional. Yes, it's really that good. Seriously, get the buns.
  • Momosan Ramen (M) - Surprisingly delicious. Modern and fusion-y. Great sake selection. Great lunch set, enjoyed the coconut tantan ramen.
  • Nobu 57 (M) - It’s all about that black cod with miso!
  • Rai Rai Ken (M) - Cash only, casual Japanese eatery. Super cheap, good late night happy hour deals. Chicken karaage w/ spicy mayo, shoyu ramen, and decent pork buns.
  • Sakagura (M) - I love the decor, and pretty good soba combo sets. Would like to return for dinner. Make a reservation if you want to get in.
  • Soba Totto (M) - Found this gem when wandering from a restaurant with too long of a wait. Mochi Bacon, delicious yakitori, simple and delicate soba. Unexpectedly amazing.

  • Asian Jewels (Q) - Flushing Dim Sum with the best name. Not too shabby with the food, either.
  • The Bao (M) - The spiciest xiao long bao ever! And delicious, authentic EVERYTHING.
  • Excellent Pork Chop House (M) - Seriously, underground birthday party with Taiwanese pork chop rice!
  • Feng Cheng Yuan (M) - Late night congee cravings? and they put some kind of meat in the hot and sour soup.
  • Joe's Shanghai (M) - Known for their soup dumplings. The Bao is better!
  • Lanzhou Handmade Noodles (Q) - I really loved watching them hand pull the noodles.
  • Mei Li Wah (M) (Q) (B) - I think they have the best chinese bbq buns (cha siu).
  • Noodle Village (M) - Soup dumplings, congee, ramen, and uh, amazing warm soy milk.

  • Arirang (M) - Oh my goodness, get the chicken kar jeabe noodle soup. Knife-sliced deliciousness. Great for winter.
  • BCD Tofu House (M) - AH! Delicious tofu soup and sides.
  • Don's Bogam (M) - Good place for some family style Korean bbq. Lots of sake choices here.
  • Mokbar Ramen (M) (Q) (B) - Korean fusion ramen in Chelsea Market? so-so...
  • Take31 (M) - Basically wolfed down the entire plate of bulgogi jap cha after attending my first concert at MSG.

  • Pam Real Thai (M) - They had soft shell crab and it was awesome. We shared the oxtail noodle soup and it was SO tender and amazing. .
  • Rhong Tiam (M) - I shit you not, he won a grasshopper-eating-contest here.
  • Sea Thai (B) - The green curry was on fire, I loved it.
  • Songkran (M) - Another victim of the Midtown food black hole. Do not order the crab fried rice.
  • Spice (M) - One of those chains, you know. But it's not terrible if you have a big group craving Thai food. Kind of a fun urban atmosphere but don't expect traditional.

  • Kopi Kopi (M) - Nasi Goreng (fried rice)and if you can have milk, get the Indonesian avocado coffee concoction!
  • Little Mo (B) - Heart of Bushwick, and they have Pho brunch! Only served on weekends. During the weekdays they have their entire menu of delicious bao, banh mi, and rice bowls. Proper. The Classic Pho was awesome, and I loved the short rib banh mi as well. Check out the matcha lattes next door.
  • Num Pang Sandwiches (M) - Indulgent Cambodian fusion sandwiches, banh mi style!
  • Pho Grand (M) - In desperate search of Vietnamese pho that is comparable to that of Houston’s.
  • Maharlika (M) - I was drooling, I mean, their meat literally fell apart with tenderness. Sisig was awesome.
  • Mamak (M) - Malaysian done right. Their nasi lemak was awesome.
  • Meskel (Ehtiopian) (M) - That honey wine though. Goes great with the Ethiopia injera. Vegetarian combo is especially delish.
  • Noreetuh (Hawaiian) (M) - Very inventive take on Hawaiian cuisine. Seems counterintuitive, but get the spaghetti.
  • Pokéworks (Hawaiian) (M) - Cheap and casual poké spot for lunch. There will be a queue on nice days so prepare.
  • Talde (B) - Asian Fusion. Pick the right things. The wonton soup was awesome, and the whole fish.

american/mediterranean

  • Bacchanal (M) - Dinner lived up the name of the restaurant. Both the daurade and the cassoulet were great. Sausage always wins, shall I say… Live jazz and amazing service on a Monday night.
  • Bedford (M) - Expensive hotel concept. Swanky, trying some new things. Lots of wood-grilled options.
  • Bleecker Street Kitchen (M) - Down to earth. Yellowfin tuna tartare and beet salad were good staples.
  • Blue Ribbon Brasserie Brooklyn (B) - Lost my bone marrow virginity here. Also, who knew that hake could be so good? and kale and barley soup?
  • Bonnie's Grill (B) - Seriously the best diner burgers ever. We went on an HIMYM-like hunt for these! Sit at the counter and watch them make your burger.
  • Cask Bar + Kitchen (M) - Stopped in for a wintry cocktail.
  • Cafe Gitane (M) - That avocado toast is winning. Don’t leave without the Moroccan cous cous either.
  • Cafe Mogador (M) - Yummy brunch.
  • Cornelia Street Cafe (M) - Really a neighborhood establishment. Nice to sit outside and people-watch. Also lots of live music options nightly.
  • Dante(M) - Lots of sazerac and negroni options. Good date spot.
  • Egg (B) - Not lactose intolerant friendly, but get the Eggs Rothko if you're a normal person.
  • Estela (M) - Again, the rice takes the cake. fried arroz negro! And anything with avocado.
  • Fedora (M) - So, they have a *secret* wagyu beef over duck fat fried rice dish that you have to call and reserve ahead of time. We didn’t know, but the yellowfin tuna and the bone marrow/escargot toasts are still pretty good.
  • Five Leaves (B) - It's a brunch KING, everyone flocks here so expect a wait! Nice sidewalk seating.
  • Jack's Wife Freda (M) - Known for brunch. GREEN SHAKSHUKA! Add some avocado, fo sho.
  • Gato (M) - Seafood done the Bobby Flay way. But the star of the show? Vegetarian paella- kale and wild mushroom, to be exact.
  • Hearth (M) - First time trying Brodo. Beautiful atmosphere, ok food. Great coconut rice pudding (dairy free)!
  • Hundred Acres (M) - Winnie-the-Pooh inspired but the decor is kind of stiff. Good thing there’s also stiff whiskey (they serve Pappy Van Winkle here). Mostly forgettable food, but the arctic char was all right.
  • LIC Market (Q) - My favorite neighborhood restaurant all around- with hands down the best servers (none of whom are native New Yorkers)
  • Marlow & Sons (B) - Changing menu daily. Dimly-lit, cozy, lovely ingredients. Loved the brick chicken.
  • The Mercer Kitchen (M) - They had sweet pea guacamole! Good and versatile all-around menu, including breakfast, brunch, lunch, late lunch, dinner, and late night. I mean, perfect for any hobbits out there who want meals at all times.
  • Queen's Kickshaw (M) - Great place for all hours- from brunch to coffee to wine and live music. It was on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins and Drive Thrus.
  • Russ & Daughters (M) - I literally did not even want the bagel. I just wanted that amazing smoked salmon.
  • Sarabeth's (B) - Lots of hype about their jam. Avocado on everything was good though.
  • Saxon + Parole (B) - Bloody Mary do-it-your-way, mediocre brunch
  • Shake Shack (M) - Only in Madison Sq Park is it worth it. they serve wine and beer, outdoors. yes.
  • Springbone (M) - Good paleo and gluten-free options. Try the coconut milk bone broths. I like the zucchini noodles with meatballs.
  • Spring Street Natural (M) - Damn, now THAT is some tuna. Sesame-crusted-yellowfin-tuna-steak with wasabi mashed potatoes and bok choy. I died and went to heaven.
  • Tartinery (M) - One trick pony- lots of things served on top of bread. Decent wine selection.
  • The Smile (M) - Rustic, underground, and the best pear almond upside-down cake. with vanilla gelato.
  • Umami Burger (M) - Ahi tuna burger, bunless (since I got enough buns to go around). Great sweet potato fries and truffle things.
  • WIldair (M) - Contra's casual sister in LES. Fried squid with squid ink mayo is unmissable. Good wine, bustling and lively vibe. Save room for the hazelnut tart.

michelin

  • Babbo (M) - It was nice but kind of stiff without much personality. All I wanted was the gnocchi with braised oxtail and it was great.
  • Bouley (M) - I can't stop thinking about the bread cart. The service was phenomenal, really enjoyed their seafood-centric chef's tasting menu. Nice thick-curtained windows in case you want to take your secret mistress.
  • Carbone (M) - Why was the mushroom side dish just so delicious? Right. Because it's Carbone. The gemelli di rabe was amazing. and I think maybe the best champagne.
  • Eleven Madison Park (M) - Who knew that celery root cooked inside a pig’s bladder could be my favorite dish of a tasting menu? Also, possibly one of the best dining experiences overall. So far.
  • Jungsik (M) - Incredibly inventive tasting menu with Korean flair.
  • Hirohisa (M) - Calm, peaceful, authentic. Feels like stepping into a real Japanese oasis. Lovely omakase Sit at the counter to watch the chefs work!
  • Le Bernadin (M) - Uni and scallops & wagyu beef took the cake, jackets required. Worth the 5 inch heels.
  • M Wells Steakhouse (Q) - This was the king of steakhouse experiences- perfectly shucked oysters followed by ridiculous meat. All accompanied by house-proclaimed addictive cocktails and the magic three words: foie gras gnocchi.
  • Per Se (M) - I'm not sure I knew that service could get even better than I had already experienced. Per Se was the epitome. And what a view.
  • Piora (M) - What an experience. the 40 oz bone-in steak in maple syrup marinade was just the king of the show. Get the hazelnut pudding for dessert.
  • Public (M) - Brunchy, boozy, but otherwise forgettable.
  • Seamore's (M) - Poké was the star of the show. Guess I don’t *need* to go to Hawaii anymore. Good drinks, too.
  • Semilla (B) - Veggie-centric (but meat is a possibility) prix fixe menu. Bread is amazing, falafel dish too.
  • The Spotted Pig (M) - Late night amazing burger and shoestring fries that leave you wondering if bigger is better. Go figure out what devils-on-horseback are.
  • Sushi of Gari (M) - Tiny space, and beauty in the simple omakase! Something with tofu puree on it was my favorite.
  • Torrisi Italian Specialties (M) - First Michelin tasting menu experience. Intimate, and talked a lot about wines from the Finger Lakes region.

mexican/latin

  • ABC Cocina (M) - Tapas style deliciousness. The latin variation of ABC Kitchen.
  • Black Ant (M) - Chapulines with guacamole! Yes! Tacos are ok. Also, the cocktails are great.
  • Cafe Habana (M) - Dripping, greasy, cubano sandwich deliciousness. Also has some great breakfast options.
  • Caliente Cab (M) - Only if 1) you are drunk or 2) you want to get drunk on bad margaritas.
  • Caracas Arepa Bar (M) - All sorts of Arepas!
  • Comodo (M) - Cool story of how they were crowdfunded by friends. Decent Latin fusion.
  • Cosme (M) - This earns a place as one of the Top 3 meals of my life. Chef created a special menu and pairings. Everything was exquisite- from the uni avocado chicharron to the handmade blue corn tortillas!
  • Donna (B) - You know, overpriced tacos (aka Brooklyn style) and esquites. Still, good vibe and whiskey selection.
  • Dos Toros (M) - Burritos, but sigh. Just go to Chipotle, please.
  • Dos Caminos (M) - Upscale, Americanized Mexican food. Guacamole is bland.
  • Essex Taqueria (M) - Pretty good, but they didn’t stand a chance since I just got home from Texas.
  • Guantanamera (M) - They were NOT joking with that mojito. And some Cuban-style salsa, that’s what I’m talkin’ bout.
  • Havana Central (M) - Live salsa music, amazing pernil asado, incredibly enthusiastic staff. Fun for a casual night out. Good cocktails too. Fun and loud night.
  • La Esquina Brasserie (M) - “Secret” underground. Delicious cocktails and the cochinita pibil is a must-try!
  • Mancora (M) - What is it about that empanada sauce? It's so good.
  • Pio Pio Riko (M) - Peruvian rotisserie chicken, rice, beans. What more do you need?
  • Poco (M) - Oh, jalapeño margaritas and bacon wrapped dates? Done.
  • Raymi (M) - Bottomless ceviche and pisco sours on certain day of the week.
  • Tacombi at Fonda Nolita (M) - Oh man. Horchata (that you can spike), huevos con chorizo, amazing salsa. Also, get the esquites (elote).

spanish style

  • Boqueria (M) - It's a bit too trendy but pretty good tapas. The merguez was great.
  • Las Ramblas (M) - Red pear sangria here is pretty awesome. Good specials. TINY SPACE.

italian/french

  • Alta Linea (M) - New al fresco-only dining at the Highline Hotel. Lovely, romantic, and beware that delicious frozen negroni. Make a reservation.
  • Amelie (M) - French food paired with the best wine. Escargot and amazing bread.
  • Bistro Les Amis (M) - It was okay, seems like a mashup of a lot of different cuisines. Sidewalk outdoor seating is nice. Tuna tartare was great, comes on a BED of avocado!
  • BOBO (M) - Beautiful "outdoor" area. Cute, romantic, good for a first date to scope things out. Nice wine list. I hear their brunch is good too. New American/French. Chocolate mousse tart was on point.
  • Buvette (M) - He warned me that it may not be the best for my “dairy” problem, but our waitress was able to spout off all the options without dairy (she herself being lactose intolerant). Oxtail and orange marmalade tartine! and leeks! Their cookbook is astounding.
  • Cipriani Downtown (M) - Seen and be seen in SoHo. Fresh and simple, though pricey. The vanilla meringue cake was unreal.
  • Corsino (M) (CLOSED NOW) - Charcuterie to die for!
  • Degustacion (M) - Tiny! Make a reservation. Birthday dinner tasting menu. Learned what squab tastes like.
  • Frankie's 457 (B) - Famous for the cavatelli. As the waiter suggested, I “did a line of Lactaid” and sucked it up.
  • Giovanni Rana (M) - That Italian restaurant at the front of Chelsea Market that you always pass by. They have delicious squid ink pasta!
  • Isola Trattoria & Crudo (M) - Quickie at the Mondrian Soho. I meant the restaurant, you dirty minds. Lovely crudo / salad plates.
  • Juliette (B) - It's French, but I only come for brunch and I only get one thing- their corned beef hash is the best I've ever had. Also lovely garden patio and rooftop. Expect to wait.
  • Le Coucou (M) - Fancy french, make sure you get a reservation. Duck was star of the show, adorned by foie gras and figs. Get the chocolate mousse and bathe in it.
  • Rubirosa (M) - Mint gnocchi with lamb?? What! Delicious. Vodka pizza looked fabulous, and they have a mezcal old-fashioned. Yes please.
  • San Marzano (M) - Pretty good and cheap pasta in the EV!
  • Tony's di Napoli (M) - Family style to the max. That eggplant parm, though…

vegan-friendly

  • 00+Co (M) - Inspired vegan wood-fired pizza. And vegan dessert. I would live here, basically. Get the farro-fennel sausage pizza.
  • Angelica Kitchen (M) - Macrobiotic bowls? It felt very Gwyneth Paltrow. Pretty delicious vegan options though.
  • Avant Garden (M) -Tiny, romantic, great lighting. Wine is good, small sharing plates. Most likely you'll want to eat tapas style. Cooks are friendly, loved sitting at the bar.
  • Beyond Sushi (M) - Don’t hate me, but I actually really loved the vegan sushi. I know, I didn’t believe anyone could love vegan sushi.
  • Blossom on Carmine (M) - Vegan bliss, basically. Yummy Moroccan tagine.
  • by Chloe (M) - Feels very "L.A." I love the vegan Mac 'n' Cheese (sweet potato-cashew cheese, shiitake bacon)
  • Cafe Ghia (B) - Mofongos and vegan scrambles. Oh, and yes, Kahlua Iced Coffee. Wintry delights.
  • Candle Cafe West -(M) Basically my dream vegan restaurant. That ravioli though!
  • Caravan of Dreams -(M) Dark, pricey for the portions, but really good.
  • Champ's Diner - That drunken cowgirl dish. Vegan heaven.
  • The Cinnamon Snail (M) - Vegan food truck. Their sandwiches are amazing, and they are very well known for their I-can't-believe-this-is-vegan desserts.
  • Dirt Candy (M) - New location. Inventive and bombass onion chocolate tart. Who would’ve thought?
  • Ellary's Greens (M) - Organic, delicious. Smoothies and entrees with NOLA flare.
  • El Rey (M) - The Grains and Crudite salad comes with an awesome pickled (?) egg
  • Nourish Table + Kitchen (M) - “Fast” healthy with rotating specials, adorable but tiny spot.
  • The Organic Grill (M) - Pretty awesome vegan burgers.
  • Peacefood Cafe (M) - Wontons, carrot cake, all vegan. And mango lassi without dairy? YES.
  • Pine Box Rock Shop (B) - Vegan empanadas. Beer. Great monthly vegan event called Vegan Shop Up.
  • Paulie Gee's (B) - Hands down the best pizza. And vegan too? Get out. Just. Get. Out.
  • Pure Food and Wine (M) - We sat in the garden in the back. I literally wanted to try everything on the menu. Even the cocktails are vegan. I know, you hate me more now. I am dying to go back.
  • Quantum Leap (M) - Oh man. Tofu cheesecake. I know, I know. But seriously it was delicious.
  • Rissoteria (M) - Gluten-free and dairy free options for risotto! Count me in.
  • Shanti Shack (B) - Kula Yoga AND delicious vegan food? Plus, I love sitting in the ash room upstairs. munch munch.
  • Siggy's Good Food (M) - Fireplace and all. And some damn good quinoa spinach cakes.
  • Vinnie's Pizzeria (B) - More vegan slices! Plastic booths like an old Dairy Queen, shitty linoleum and all.
  • Westville (M) - Lives up to the hype. Delicious and healthy fare. I really wanted those sweet potato fries though.

southern/fried chicken

  • Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken (M) - That corn though.
  • Blue Smoke / Jazz Standard (M) - Geezus. Live delicious jazz with fall-off-the-bone ribs. Hand me a napkin.
  • Bubby's (M) - Bombass breakfast everyday, and homemade biscuits that are like heaven. and pit smoked bbq. Super bustling, but worth the wait.
  • Clinton Street Baking Company (M) - Chicken. Waffles. Jalapeno Cornbread. Pancakes
  • Fette Sau (B) - Giving Texas a run for its bbq. Those ribs!
  • Hill Country Barbecue (M) - Moist brisket and Texas Tornadoes (Tito’s Vodka? Mint? delicious). Live band karaoke, pecan pie, and Texas flags EVERYWHERE. It was pretty much heaven, and I’m not sure why I waited so long.
  • John Brown Smokehouse (Q) - Down home casual. Bomb burnt ends.
  • Mable's Smokehouse (B) - Great for a big party. Pretty good bbq and sides. The bbq sauce is pretty damn good. Save room for dessert.
  • Turntable Mad for Chicken (M) - Korean twist on fried chicken. Both flavors are amazing. Don’t get the fried dumplings. Seriously just order the fried chicken
  • Wilma Jean (B) - Crispy, flakey, pretty greasy but come on, it’s fried chicken! Skip the collard greens, get extra drumsticks instead

  • 230 Fifth (M) - Vegas-like, with a rooftop. But with fewer good-looking people. Excellent Empire State Building view, though.
  • XIV, the Bar (M) - Catch a cocktail before a burlesque show. The espresso one will perk you right up.
  • Aldo Sohm (M) - Fancy, bustling, be seen.
  • Analogue (M) - Charcuterie, bourbon, live jazz. and hush-hush rendezvous.
  • Beast Next Door (Q) - All around disappointing. Sad charcuterie and unrecognizable cocktails.
  • Carroll Place (M) - Wine, brick oven pizza, live jazz. Kind of nice repose from the madness of MacDougal area.
  • City Winery (M) - One of Manhattan's only fully-functioning wineries that doubles as restaurant/music venue. Food was mediocre, acoustics were not bad.
  • Copacabana (M) - Best Caribbean rooftop party. Oh, the music and the dancing! Gentlemen, if you want eye candy...
  • Crosby Hotel (M) - I love this place. The patio is awesome in the summer, and I've always wanted to have afternoon tea or a meal here. Drinks are solid but pricey. It's a nice one-in-a-while treat.
  • Dutch Kills (Q) - I love, love Dutch Kills. My favorite cocktails in Queens. Moscow Mule in a tin cup ftw!
  • Ear Inn (M) - Dive bar with great food. It claims to be the oldest bar in the city. Great live jazz bands.
  • Employees Only (M) - Crazy popular, good martinis. The famous gin smash was only ok. Impressive bartending though.
  • Lelabar (M) - Great West Village spot with live music and a HUGE selection of wine. Christian Bale is rumored to frequent this place.
  • Maison Premiere (B) - Oysters and Absinthe, call me a hedonist.
  • Mona's (M) - I love this dark dive with the best blues/jazz live music.
  • Mother's Ruin (M) - Thai pork sliders, and they have Frito Pie. until 4am?! Dim and bustling, just how you’d hope it'd be.
  • Pioneers (M) - Mediocre midtown fratty bar with games.
  • Pulqueria (M) - Several times now, always with the perfectly-curated latin playlist with the best merengue/salsa. And the tequila and mezcal selection will seriously make you doubt that you’re not in Mexico.
  • Radegast (B) - Typical beer hall. Loud. Pretzels.
  • Rochelle's (M) - Come make out here. They have a room for it.
  • The Ship (M) - Cool decor makes it look like an inverted “ship” and decent vibe for cocktails. They serve warm drinks like hot toddys!
  • Spritzenhaus (B) - ANOTHER typical beer hall with giant jenga. Hah! Those pretzels tho!
  • St. Mazie (B) - Hipsters everywhere, good cocktails, and great live bands.
  • Sweet and Vicious (M) - Might have almost gotten kicked out for dancing on the tables. Yeah, good night. Dance your ass off.
  • Sweetwater Social (M) - for my birthday, with great Moscow Mules
  • Terraza 7 (Q) - Seriously one of the best live latin music bars and it's hidden deep in Jackson Heights.
  • Temple Bar (M) - Perfect date bar. Hidden, dark, good little snacks and delicious Old Fashioned cocktails.
  • Toad Hall (M) - Dive bar with billiards. I'm almost sure they spiked that blueberry vodka drink I drank...
  • Vin et Fleurs (M) - Sweet little wine spot tucked in SoHo, nice open windows with outdoor seating in summertime.
  • Von (M) - Lots of parties and dark corners. Good wine selection.
  • Weather Up (M) - Whiskey. and lots of Purple Rain with Drake interludes. That’s all I remember. Also, the name could have been taken quite literally that night.
  • YN (M) - Tiny, romantic wine spot with dark corners. Pretty amazing pate with figs. Dim light, wine, pear salads, flickering candles.

my unfortunate sweet tooth

  • Amy's Bread (M) - There is a reason why they are almost too cliche and mainstream. They are just damn good. Their cakes and icing though! So moist. Cake, cake cake cake! Yellow cake with pink frosting made me feel like a ballerina and was delicious. Carrot cake is delish. The blondie was less appetizing.
  • Big Gay Ice Cream Shop (M) - The only thing I could have was the rainbow-colored popsicle, but not complaining.
  • Bread's Bakery (M) - Seriously, that chocolate Nutella babka is ridiculous.
  • DF Mavens (M) - All dairy free ice cream!
  • Doughnut Plant (M) - Creme Brulee donut. All you need to know.
  • Dominique Ansel Bakery (M) - So, the backyard garden is lovely but I admit I never waited for my cronut. The one I did try was pretty spectacular, thought I am reluctant to admit it.
  • Georgetown Cupcakes (M) - That salted caramel cupcake. Wow.
  • Jennifer's Way (M) - Yummy vegan cookies!
  • Laduree (M) - SoHo location, swanky like you'd imagine. I had to admit the macarons were perfectly textured and delicious.
  • Levain Bakery (M) - Are you kidding me? That cookie weighs as much as I do!
  • Little Choc Apothecary (B) - Vegan and gluten free crepes, homemade “newtella” that has no dairy, basically my tender belly’s heaven.
  • Milk Bar (M) - Oh, wait. I really couldn't eat anything here. They have some vegan cookies I should try next time.
  • Peter Pan Donuts (B) - Probably, like, the original donuts. I love their old fashioned cake donuts.
  • Popbar (M) - Ice cream on a stick, y'all.
  • Press Tea (M) - Green tea white chocolate cookie is ridiculous.
  • Rice to Riches (M) - Possibly the least lactose-intolerant friendly place, but really fun to read all the signs.
  • Seven Grams Caffe (M) - God. Banana bread with chocolate swirls.
  • Snowdays (M) - I canNOT believe I didn’t know about this Taiwanese shaved ice spot in the East Village. Got coconut with blueberry puree and mochi of course. Make more vegan flavors pls.
  • Underwest Donuts (M) - Oh my goodness. The best cake donuts ever. Get the halvah-flavored one.
  • Van Leeuwen (M) - Cherry blossom VEGAN ice cream. I’m in heaven.
  • Victory Garden (M) - Pozole and goat’s milk soft serve (get the salted caramel flavor) – and HALVAH!
